V. We adore Thee O Christ, and we praise Thee
R. Because by thy holy Cross thous hast redeemed the world.
The pain of his wounds and the loss of blood increasing at every step of His
way, again his strength fails him and Jesus falls the ground a second time.
V. O Jesus! falling again under the burden of our sins, and of Thy sufferings
for our sins, how often have we grieved Thee by our repeated falls into sin!
Oh, may we rather die than ever offend thee again!
R. I love you Jesus, my love above all things, and I repent with my whole
heart at having ever offended you. Never permit me to separate myself from you
again. Grant that I may love you always and then do with me what you will.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdome come, Thy
will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and
forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead
us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb - Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the
beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen.
V. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in
peace.
