St Peter's is the 'home' church to LIFE, the leading pro-life charity in the UK. In 1970, shorly after LIFE was founded, the then parish priest, Father Davenport, asked the chariman of LIFE to speak at all Masses about the new organisation. From then on, the priests and people of St Peter's have supported LIFE's work in every way: by prayer vigils, meetings, members joining, people taking part in LIFE's counselling and education work and fund-raising.

For many years the LIFE counselling centre was in premises owned by the Parish. The national HQ of LIFE is only 3 minutes walk from St Peters.

Many parishioners are paid-up members of LIFE, including some of the very first to join in 1970/71. Three of LIFE's honourary national members are parishioners. The witness of LIFE in the town is especially important because the largest abortion clinic in the UK is also in Leamington Spa. The battle between the Culture of Life and the Culture of Death is stark and St Peter's parish can truly say that it has responded to the Holy Father's call to "Choose Life". LIFE is deeply indebted to St Peter's parish for all the practical help and spiritual comfort and guidance over the past 34 years.
